In Due Time
Versatile and ambitious, the Race of Men is easily the most populous and powerful of the world’s peoples. When Gods and mortals still walked the Earth together, the first Humans were eager pupils of Ariahavé, Goddess of Civilization, and Human works in craft, trade, innovation, and culture rivaled those of the Elves and Dwarves. However, during the Age of Legend, Dauban Hess, a descendant of Islik, conquered much of the Known World; and while Elves, Dwarves, and Men may still rival one another in craft, trade, and innovation, the thoroughness of Dauban Hess’ conquest ensured Humankind’s cultural primacy.
Humans can be found in every corner of the Known World. As with all races of the Known World, Human cultures are not entirely dependent on race, but on region, history, and their connection to their Gods. Like other races of the Known World, Men are varied in attitudes, abilities, and physical features such as height, structure, and pigmentation, though regional commonalities exist.
